Typical winter feature in SHIZUOKA, I think.

Something delicious occupies major part of my joy.

I was going to go up KOJIRI pass this morning though,

found that it was almost impossible to reach there within certain time flame...

So changed to the plan B, YAMANAMI forest road.

It was fair with occasional clouds.

Felt so cold especially during going down the slope.

First time to see it. Likely there were many visitors there.

I think I should bike only on the flat road without any steep slope...

ODANGO walking

I took my younger daughter our for a walk.

Since she needed a treat for walking, I promised to give it to her.

A little bit cold though, it was so sunny nice day for walking today.

Did you see it?

It was difficult to imagine how hard is it to go to TOKYO on foot from here.

She got them after long walking. Good job, my sugar.

A kind of pottering though, it was my first ride on the bike this winter.

Not bad start on the first day of the my winter vacation.

On the last day before it closes for fishing

Fortunately I got a chance to go there in the morning.

Which means not the early morning. Free in the morning, what a fantastic phrase!

But there were several earlier fishermen than me...

Yeah, everybody thinks of same thing.

I said hello two lure fishermen, and walked down to the river after about 1 hour after them.

I thought it must be no chance though, it wasn't.

Missed two chances and one of them was...

I got skunk but let me update another pic of previous one.

Weekly early morning fishing trip to the south

6:00-7:30, a kind of adventure finding new stream this morning. It was hard to get appropriate exposure because of early morning's weak light...

Fall early morning

Surprise!

Visiting the river D opened till the end of Oct. (6:00-7:30).

I thought it was good one and enough for this early morning.

But it was really surprised 9.5 SUN.

Normally he is called NAKIJAKU though,

I don't have any disappointed feeling at all.

This river is open for fishing until the end of Oct.

By the way, I got this yummy fruit of mountains before fishing!

Cold and foggy trekking

We got to the FUJINOMIYA 5th station of the Mt. FUJI.

And there were much colder than we'd imagined...

Anyway let's hike up to the 6th station together.

There were some fall colors everywhere.

Never felt cold when we were going up.

Had a quick lunch at the 6th station, and got started going down soon. Because some raindrops began to fall... It was a kind of short trekking, but had fun time there expect the weather.

In the morning

As a kind of special during the silver week, could fish from 6:30 to 10:30 this morning. Water showed still very high though, I had some expectations. At 8:24, got good male one by #12 Bk spider parachute. But no more luck...

Relaxed morning

We had sunny day after long rainy days today.

Family pass brought us there easily.

No thinking, just relaxed in the field. I liked it.
