C&F Casting School at OSHINO
It was my first experience to take the casting lesson.
The teacher was famous Billy HIGASHI-san.
What a cool ashtray it is!
Yummy lunch at the River's Edge with Billy-san.
Must be rare shot of fly fishing experts for me.
Nice sunny day but cold enough for me. OSHINO in December was dangerous...
After we tried unique rods like ECHO's glass rod.
Very difficult to cast, but got many findings.
It was worth paying 15,000 JPY(without tax). Looking forward to the DVD's arrival!
Memorandum for tomorrow;
- Grip should be the between 'V' and 'thumb on'.
- Remember the movement of 'hummer' when you drive a small nail.
- Tracing in 2D-plane.
- Touch the reel like (going back to home position) when you are doing 'Double Haul'.

4 minutes faster than before
6:44 still cold morning.
I felt I didn't climb up faster than before.
But result was 1:14:15, 4 minutes faster than the last time!
By the way, you should think of the coldness when you go down the pass.
It was definitely dangerous cold downhill!
Maybe you should avoid the early morning HAKONE trial during winter.
